Larvotto Resources’ (ASX:LRV) drilling program at the Metz and Freehold targets within the Hillgrove Antimony-Gold Project in New South Wales, has returned ‘high-grade’ results which the company says will provide strong momentum for the remainder of the year.
Four diamond drill rigs are currently onsite, with drilling focusing on the convergence of the Blacklode and Syndicate structures at Metz.
Exploration is also designed to test extensions beneath historical workings, with step-outs planned along the west-north-west and north-west strike extensions of the Blacklode and Syndicate mineralised structures.
At Freehold, first-pass drilling is being conducted, while extensional drilling has begun at Clarks Gully.
This news comes after the company received results from a drilling program completed at the Elenora-Garibaldi target areas.

Managing Director Ron Heeks says the results highlight the opportunity to define additional mineralisation adjacent to the historical workings.
“This phase of drilling was designed to assess remnant mineralisation from previous operations, particularly in the upper parts of the deposit; firm up these additional zones before pushing deeper below the current resource,” Heeks says.
Some of the latest results include 30m @ 3.29 grams per tonne gold-equivalent (AuEq) from 104m, including 4.1m @ 8.42g/t AuEq from 116m; and 5.40m @ 11.99g/t AuEq from 151.6m, including 4m @ 15.89g/t AuEq from 153m.
Once all results are received from Elenora-Garibaldi and included in an updated resource model, a further round of drilling is expected to follow.
The Garibaldi deposit has a current resource of 2.7 million tonnes @ 6.6g/t AuEq for 396,000 ounces of gold and 19,000 tonnes of antimony.
Larvotto Resources is an Australian resources company focused on the development of its dual-commodity Hillgrove Project. The project is set to begin production in 2026, producing 7% of the global antimony requirements.
