Larvotto hits Metz intercepts ahead of resource expansion

Larvotto Resources (ASX:LRV) is looking to expand the resource base at the Hillgrove Antimony-Gold Project in New South Wales, with recent drilling at Metz Mining Centre returning multiple ‘high grade’ intercepts.

Located within the Blacklode prospect at Hillgrove, the Metz system has returned gold-antimony intercepts including 6m @ 8.5 grams per tonne gold equivalent from 92m, including 3.8m @ 12.27g/t gold equivalent from 93.6m; 16m @ 5.43g/t gold equivalent from 294m, including 4.6m @ 14.22g/t gold equivalent from 299.8m; and 3m @ 22.65g/t gold equivalent from 349m.

Tungsten intercepts include 5.4m @ 0.39% tungsten trioxide from 92m; 0.4m @ 1.80% tungsten trioxide from 28.3m; 0.8m @ 0.84% tungsten trioxide from 44.7m; and 0.4m @ 0.93% tungsten trioxide from 297.6m.

Larvotto is focused on conducting its near-mine and regional exploration strategy, with four diamond drill rigs currently operating at the Metz and Freehold areas.

Drilling at Metz is looking to define the convergence of the Blacklode and Syndicate structures, along with other associated mineralisation and testing of extensions beneath historical operations.

Managing Director Ron Heeks says Larvotto made “significant progress” in its 2025 exploration campaigns, with intention to carry these results into 2026.

“These results continue to strengthen our confidence in the scale and continuity of mineralisation across the system,” Heeks says.

“The latest results from hole BLK107 are particularly encouraging, confirming high-grade mineralisation within a gap in the current model. This confirms continuity of unmodelled mineralised splays.

“Mineralisation from drillhole BLK106, on the Midas Gully splay, highlights significant strike potential, with the system evident for at least 380m to the northwest.

“Our exploration team has returned from a well-deserved break, and drilling has recommenced. Once sufficient extensional and infill drilling is completed, we look to complete resource and reserve upgrades at Metz later in 2026.”

Larvotto Resources is an Australian explorer focused on developing its dual-commodity Hillgrove Project, which is set to begin production in 2026.
