LaFleur flags board changes ahead of Beacon restart

LaFleur Minerals (CSE:LFLR) has appointed Paul Ténière, Peter Espig and Jeff Swinoga to the board of directors, ahead of restarting gold production at the Beacon Gold Mill in Québec, Canada.

The company says the board appointments reflect LaFleur’s commitment to enhance governance and strategic oversight as it moves towards the restart of gold production at the Beacon Gold Mill, as well as its next phase of growth and development.

CEO Paul Ténière has more than 25 years of global experience spanning exploration, resource expansion, project development, capital markets and disclosure compliance.

As CEO, Ténière will advance the company’s exploration and development plans including a preliminary economic assessment for the Swanson Gold Project, as well as managing the restart of the Beacon Gold Mill.

Peter Espig – CEO of Nicola Mining (TSX-V:NIM) – has led the company’s transformation from creditor protection into a producing mining enterprise while increasing its market capitalisation.

Meanwhile, Jeff Swinoga is a strategic addition as the company enters a phase where access to capital, disciplined financial leadership and strong industry relationships are expected to advance its projects and long-term objectives.

Swinoga has more than 27 years of experience across exploration, development and operations. He is the former CEO of Epic Gold and First Mining Gold (TSX:FF).

The company also announces the resignations of Preet Gill and Harveer Sidhu from the board of directors.
