Javelin Minerals (ASX:JAV) has completed an aircore (AC) and reverse circulation (RC) drill program at the Malamute and Husky projects in New South Wales, Australia.
The AC drilling program comprised 16 holes for542m and has provided the company more lithological and structural understanding to underexplored Albert East magnetic features within the project.
Javelin says there is strong evidence of ultramafic rock or saprolite overlying ultramafic rocks intersected in most drillholes. Further drilling is required in order to evaluate at deeper levels the ultramafics now uncovered.

Meanwhile, the RC program encompassed 8 holes for 1,143m, which followed on from an AC drill program carried out earlier this year that had identified geochemically anomalous precious metals, base metals, and rare earth elements.
Drill samples from the Husky Project were bulked and dispatched for analysis in 4m and 5m intervals, as an effective initial cost reducing analytical measure.
Javelin Minerals is an ASX-listed exploration company, with a portfolio of projects located across Australia. The company’s projects include the Mt Ida and Coogee projects in Western Australia, the Bonaparte Project in the Northern Territory, and the Husky and Malamute projects in New South Wales.
