IRIS Metals (ASX:IR1) intends to pursue a dual-listing on a US exchange, either Nasdaq or New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), as part of its strategic growth initiatives.
The company has appointed Roth Capital Partners as its exclusive North American listing advisor to work with and guide the US listing process.
IRIS says a US listing will enhance liquidity by enabling a broader range of investors to participate in trading shares. The US capital markets provide access to a deeper pool of institutional and retail investors across different time zones.
Executive Chairman Peter Marks says appointing Roth Capital Partners takes the next step towards establishing the company as a cornerstone of the US lithium and critical minerals supply chain.
“This engagement reflects our commitment to meeting the rising US demand for responsibly sourced critical minerals, in line with the recently announced Australia-US critical minerals partnership,” Marks says.
IRIS’ projects are in the Black Hills of South Dakota – a mining-friendly jurisdiction with a rich history of lithium and multi-commodity critical minerals production.
