Hi-View Resources (CSE:GXLD) has uncovered a new parallel copper-silver-gold zone at the Golden Stranger Project in Canada, after conducting an internal technical review.
The company believes there is strong potential for a covered undiscovered porphyry copper system, associated with porphyry-style mineralisation at surface.
Hi-View notes that the new zone consists of outcrop and talus with mineralisation occurring for a 330m strike length and 70m width, exposed on steeper terrain located to the east of the historically drilled Golden Stranger showing.
Vice President of Exploration Nader Mostaghimi says finding a new parallel zone tells the company that the project’s system is potentially larger and more structurally complex than previously recognised.
“The 2026 field season will be focused on connecting the dots between these two zones and systematically expanding our understanding of the full extent of this system,” Mostaghimi says.
CEO Nick Horsley says the discovery of the new zone is an “encouraging” result heading into the 2026 exploration season.
“It has confirmed our confidence in the Golden Stranger property and solidified it as a high-priority epithermal target with the possibility of a deep undiscovered porphyry system,” Horsley says.
Golden Stranger, located in the Toodoggone district, has undergone exploration through shallow surface trenches, test pits, and diamond drilling. In 2025, work completed at the project included ground magnetics, induced polarisation, airborne surveys, and sampling for geochemical analysis.
