Hi-View Resources (CSE:GXLD) has acquired three mineral claims, covering 157.8 hectares, contiguous to the Lawyers East porphyry target within the Toodoggone District of central British Columbia.
The company will pay a C$10,000 ($10,458) cash payment and issue 137,500 shares to the vendors.
CEO Nick Horsley says expanding the footprint in the Toodoggone has been a deliberate focus for Hi-View.
“Acquiring the data associated with these claims will help us refine our Lawyers East porphyry targets,” Horsley says.
“As we continue to consolidate high-quality ground, Hi-View is emerging as one of the largest landholds in the district, giving us the flexibility to evaluate multiple targets and advance our projects in a coordinated manner.”
The Chip Showing claim is underlain by Early Jurassic intrusive rocks and Toodoggone volcano-sedimentary units consistent with the geological settings favourable for copper-gold porphyry and epithermal-style gold mineralisation.
Rock sampling from 2023 confirmed the presence of mineralisation, returning highlight values of 0.96% copper and 47.5 parts per million silver from chalcopyrite- and malachite-bearing granodiorite, as well as 0.145 grams per tonne gold from silicified mafic volcanic rocks.
Hi-View says together, the results show a ‘robust’ copper-silver system with associated gold potential and provide ‘strong’ vectors for exploration at Chip Showing, while increasing the footprint of the existing Lawyer East target to the north.
Hi-View Resources is a mineral explorer focused on advancing its diversified portfolio of five projects in British Columbia’s Toodoggone gold and copper district.
