Global Uranium appoints US Government advisory partner

Global Uranium and Enrichment (ASX:GUE) has appointed a strategic advisory firm, CT Group’s Washington office, to support the company’s US Government engagement and regulatory strategy.

CT Group’s Washington office brings experience in navigating the complex intersections of energy policy, national security, and regulatory compliance that characterises the current uranium enrichment landscape.

Global Uranium, which has a market capitalisation of $30 million, says CT will provide strategic guidance to help navigate regulatory approval pathways associated with its mining activities.

The firm will also work to position Global Uranium’s operations for potential funding under key US initiatives supporting domestic critical minerals development and nuclear energy security.

Managing Director Andrew Ferrier says this appointment marks an important step in advancing the company’s US strategy.

“As momentum builds at the Pine Ridge Project, we anticipate increased engagement with the US government, where CT’s deep expertise will be instrumental in navigating the regulatory landscape and enhancing our strategic position within the US uranium sector,” Ferrier says.

Global Uranium and Enrichment is an Australian explorer and developer focused on its portfolio of uranium assets in the US and Canada.

According to Trading Economics, uranium futures in the US were at US$74.5 per pound, a six-month high as markets assessed how fund buying may impact prices.

At the time of writing, uranium’s spot price sat at US$75.9 per pound.
