Giant Mining (CSE:BFG) is introducing privately held Exploration Technologies (ExploreTech) to its phase two drilling program at the Majuba Hill Project in Nevada, deploying its artificial intelligence (AI) assisted geophysical modelling system.
The technology is expected to optimise exploration efforts in the planning process, with an end goal of defining and delineating the mineralised system towards a maiden resource estimate.
This program will explore known breccias as well as deeper zones to gain a more thorough understanding of the deposit for expansion.
CEO David Greenway says ExploreTech’s technology will accelerate discovery in the upcoming drill program, while also reducing overall risk when the demand for copper is surging.
“This is more than just a drill program – it’s a pivotal step in reshoring critical mineral production and reclaiming American leadership in the copper supply chain,” Greenway says.
“The opportunity to invest in US-based copper assets has never been more urgent – or more strategic.”
Trading Economics reports that copper is valued at US$4.39 ($6.75) per pound as of 7 August, representing a 10.89% increase across this year to date.
Giant Mining is a copper-gold-silver focused explorer looking into expanding its portfolio of late-stage projects to meet the global demand for critical minerals.
