Giant Mining (CSE:BFG) is amining to enhance its evolving deposit model at the Majuba Hill porphyry copper-silver-gold project in Nevada, US, after submitting its latest drill core for assaying.
Completed to a depth of 335.3m, the core from drillhole MHB-36 has been sampled and submitted to ALS Global Services for analysis.
The drilling program was part of the phase one spring 2025 campaign, which comprised five diamond holes for 1,671.7m.
The phase one program — designed to expand known copper zones and advance the project towards completing a resource estimate — returned two copper-mineralised zones grading 0.33% copper and 16.97 parts per million (ppm) silver, as well as 0.41% copper, 1.36% copper, and 4.36% copper.
CEO David Greenway noted the company was encouraged by the progress of the drilling program.
“These results are expected to enhance our evolving deposit model at Majuba Hill, which we believe is shaping up to be a significant copper, silver, and gold discovery in a top-tier jurisdiction with strong infrastructure,” Greenway says.
“With our special warrant financing now underway, we’re well positioned to accelerate development.”
The company notes hole MHB-36 was designed using Exploration Technologies and its proprietary probabilistic, artificial intelligence-driven geophysical modelling. The modelling strategically enhanced Giant Mining’s targeting capabilities for the phase one program.
Exploration Technologies optimises drill targeting and field operations, enabling better, faster, and more cost-effective discoveries.
As Mining.com.au previously reported, Giant Mining is launching the next phase of exploration at Majuba Hill, to expand copper mineralisation from the drill program.
The company intends to combine advanced machine-learning insights with a targeted, boots-on-the-ground breccia mapping and sampling program in the Northern zone breccia corridor.
Majuba Hill is a porphyry copper project that is located 113km southwest of Winnemucca, Nevada and 215km northeast of Reno in the US.
Giant Mining is a copper, silver, and gold-focused explorer that is focused on discovering and developing its Majuba Hill Project.
