Giant Mining (CSE:BFG) has begun an artificial intelligence-driven phase two exploration program at the Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Nevada, US.
The program will build upon the first phase of work, as well as leverage a porphyry-driven, magmatic-hydrothermal breccia model to unlock the district-scale potential at Majuba Hill.
CEO David Greenway says the final assay results from hole MHB-36 confirm the effectiveness of the AI-driven targeting strategy at the project.
“ExploreTech’s proprietary geophysical modelling successfully identified a high-potential breccia zone in the Southern Corridor, expanding our understanding of Majuba’s copper mineralisation,” Greenway says.
Giant Mining, which is also listed on the OTC Markets (OTC:BFGFF), and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FRA:YW5), says the phase one assay results and geological interpretation outline a distinct copper-mineralised breccia body at Majuba Hill.
Consulting geologist Buster Hunsaker says with the AI-driven process, Giant Mining can use the extensive property-wide, induced polarisation database.
“The presence of the copper is directly related to the magnetic-hydrothermal breccias and the ExploreTech process pointed us straight to the anomalous zone,” Hunsaker says.
This news comes after phase two surface exploration work was undertaken across several targets at Majuba Hill. New soil samples will extend the existing soil sample grid and provide additional geochemical characterisation data for the newly recognised Northern Breccia Zone and Ball Park Breccia.
The Majuba Hill Project benefits from a strong foundation in all areas. Its existing infrastructure provides an advantage, offering cost-savings compared to more remote projects.
Giant Mining is a copper, silver, and gold explorer primarily focused on discoveries within the Majuba Hill district, including its project that covers 151 square-miles and consists of extensive mineral and surface rights held by private ownership, patented mining claims, and Federal Lode Mining claims.
