GBM Resources doubling down with focus on drill targets at Twin Hills Project

Queensland-based exploration company GBM Resources (ASX:GBZ) is focused towards future explorations for finalising its drill testing targets at the Twin Hills Gold Project in Queensland, Australia.

The company is continuing to conduct integrated data analysis and targeting using the extensive historic databases. Additionally, further targeted subsurface geochemical samples will be collected, alongside electric geophysics will be undertaken on selected target areas within the project.

GBM’s 309 and Lone Sister deposit models will be further refined on alteration and metal zoning patterns for use in vectoring across the tenement package.

Since completing the acquisition of Twin Hills in early 2022, the company has decided to go forth with focusing its attention towards future explorations at the project.

Additionally, the company states key exploration targets have been uncovered from an integrated review of the extensive historical data set and drilling conducted in 2022.

“We will continue to leverage our geophysical understanding against historical datasets across the very underexplored and highly prospective Twin Hills tenement package as we aim to increase our Drummond Basin Resources”

Commenting on the discovery and future exploration plans, GBM Resources Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Managing Director, Peter Rohner says: “Recent drilling combined with analysis of existing geochemical datasets at Twin Hills has defined several exciting targets, each with the potential to deliver significant additional resources.

We will continue to leverage our geophysical understanding against historical datasets across the very underexplored and highly prospective Twin Hills tenement package as we aim to increase our Drummond Basin Resources.”

The Twin Hills corridor is a gold mineralised corridor extending more than 10km long and encompasses the 309 and Lone Sister deposits, and is defined by ‘strongly’ anomalous soil geochemistry, ‘favourably’ oriented structures, and geophysic anomalies.

Additionally, the key anomalies are at the 309 Trend Targets, Lone Sister, and Southern Sister, with second order anomalies at LS7 and Lone Sister South, and mapped sinter at Centipede.

The Twin Hills Gold Project is wholly owned by GBM and has a tenement package of 1,102km-square in the highly prospective Drummond Basin in Queensland, Australia. Additionally, the project has a defined resource on permitted mining lease of 23.1 million tonnes (Mt) @ 1.3g/t Au and 6.5g/t silver (Ag) for about 1 million ounces (Moz) Au and 4.8Moz Ag.

GBM Resources is a mineral exploration and development company, focused on the discovery of world-class gold and copper deposits in Eastern Australia. The company has a ‘high’ calibre project portfolio, hosting district-scale mineral systems, located in several premier metallogenic terrains.
