GBM extends gold host horizon at Twin Hills

GBM Resources (ASX:GBM) confirms a prospective milled matrix breccia (BXM) host horizon continues at least 700m south of its 309 mineral resource estimate (MRE) at its Twin Hills Gold Project’s Stella prospect.

The company’s first deep holes from step-out drilling outside the existing resource at Twin Hills, located in Queensland’s Drummond Basin, intersected the BXM horizon at depths greater than 200m.

All four holes returned mineralisation, with the standout intercept yielding 8m @ 1.31 grams per tonne gold from 126m.

CEO Daniel Hastings says the results validate the revised geological model and demonstrate potential for a larger system.

“A significant outcome from our stage two drilling program has been the recognition that much of the historical drilling across Twin Hills was simply too shallow to adequately test the prospective BXM host sequence,” Hastings says.

“Our improved geological understanding has fundamentally changed the way we view the project. Rather than isolated mineralised bodies, we now recognise a laterally extensive mineralised host sequence extending well beyond the existing 309 MRE.”

Assays remain outstanding for approximately 60% of the 1,315m completed at Stella, while roughly 11,500m of stage two drilling across Twin Hills awaits processing following laboratory delays.

GBM says results are expected to progressively resume within the next fortnight.

High-resolution magnetic processing has also generated several high-priority targets for ongoing testing.

GBM Resources is an explorer and developer focused on discovering gold deposits in Queensland, Australia.
