Faraday Copper (TSX:FDY) has commenced its “largest drill program to date” at the company’s Copper Creek Project in Arizona.
Phase four of the aforementioned programs represents 40,000m of drilling, focused on the American Eagle discovery and other targets for infill, geotechnical, infrastructure, and hydrological drilling.
CEO Paul Harbridge says phase three of drilling in the American Eagle area allowed the company to uncover multiple mineralised breccias, which includes the Banjo breccia discovery.
“Importantly, the recent approval of our exploration plan of operations provides access to 67 drill pads on federal land, 48 of which are located in the American Eagle area,” Harbridge says.
“This now allows us to fully delineate multiple mineralised breccias and porphyry occurrences as well as near surface oxide mineralisation. As a result, we have decided to focus on this exciting exploration upside to fully evaluate the American Eagle area and test other high-priority targets across the property.
“Growing the resource and maximising the economic potential is our priority – and, therefore, we have deferred the updated resource and technical study until after this drill program is completed.”
Faraday Copper is an explorer focused on advancing its flagship copper project in Arizona, US.
