EQ Resources (ASX:EQR) will seek to list on the Nasdaq or New York Stock Exchange in 2027, subject to regulatory approvals, exchange eligibility, and market conditions.
The tungsten producer operates mines in Australia and Spain and believes a US listing would broaden access to institutional investors while improving market visibility.
Managing Director Craig Bradshaw says the decision follows a clear shift in the company’s share register towards US investors.
“Tungsten has become central to how the United States and its allies think about supply chain security, and the interest we are now seeing from US investors and US customers makes that shift very tangible for EQ Resources,” Bradshaw notes.
“Taking the company to a US exchange is, in large part, about following our shareholders and meeting that demand where it sits — while giving a multi-asset producing tungsten business the global audience that it caters to.”
Tungsten sits high on the United States’ critical minerals agenda, spanning artificial intelligence, defence, aerospace, electronics, and advanced manufacturing. The metal is designated as critical and strategic in the US, Australia, Europe, and Japan.
EQ Resources says US agencies, defence contractors, and industrial buyers are seeking dependable, allied sources of established supply. In the company’s view, its dual-jurisdiction status differentiates it in the US market.
The company is engaging specialist advisors to guide exchange selection and application processes. Preparatory work covering exchange selection, listing eligibility, audit arrangements, governance, and transaction structuring is underway.
EQR’s ASX listing and capital structure remain unaffected in the near term. The ASX will remain its primary listing venue.
The company notes there is no guarantee the listing will proceed or be completed within the proposed timetable. No agreements have been entered into at this stage.
EQ Resources is a Brisbane-based tungsten producer with a 100%-owned portfolio spanning Australia and Europe, including the Mt Carbine Mine in Queensland and Barruecopardo in Spain.
