EQ Resources (ASX:EQR) has appointed Virna Trout as company secretary, effective 23 July 2026.
Trout brings more than 20 years of legal, corporate governance, and commercial experience across listed and private mining companies, spanning various commodities and jurisdictions.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Queensland, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds a Certificate in Secretarial Practice Essential from the Governance Institute of Australia.
“Virna Trout will also be the person responsible for communications between the company and ASX,” EQ Resources says.
Tony Di Pietro will resign from the role effective 31 July 2026. The board thanked him for his dedication and service.
EQR also advises its registered office has changed to Level 7A, 410 Queen Street, Brisbane. The company’s telephone number and other details remain unchanged.
EQ Resources operates mining activities in Australia and Spain, with assets at Mt Carbine in North Queensland and Barruecopardo in the Salamanca Province.
