Enterprise Metals (ASX:ENT) has begun a reverse circulation (RC) drilling program to investigate previous lithium results from late October 2022 at its Mandilla Lithium-Gold Project near Widgiemooltha, Western Australia.
The company says this drilling program will consist of 5 RC holes designed to define the aerial extent, geometry, and nature of the pegmatites and their lithium potential.
Several RC holes will be drilled north and south of the existing section to provide a 3D understanding of this new lithium pegmatite discovery.

The company reports a limited number of Mandilla sample pulps from 3 angled slimline 80m deep RC holes drilled tested the eastern margin of the Mandilla Syenite intersected pegmatites.
The analysis of the results reported anomalous values including MERC010 with 12m @ 0.45% lithium oxide (Li2O) from 52m; and MERC011 with 8m @ 0.29% Li2O from 36m, including 7m @ 0.37% Li2O from 48m.

The Mandilla prospect is located in the Widgiemooltha greenstone belt in the western part of the Kalgoorlie geological domain, about 100km south of Kalgoorlie by road and 20km southwest of Kambalda. There are ‘significant’ nickel and gold deposits present within the belt. Wattle Dam Mine is the nearest mined gold deposit located 3km to the west of Mandilla.
