Emmerson winds up White Devil’s resource drilling

Emmerson Resources (ASX:ERM) has completed a reverse circulation drilling program at the White Devil Gold Project, as part of the broader Tennant Creek Project in the Northern Territory.

A total of 31 holes for 3,050m of drilling were completed prior to the reverse circulation drill rig shutting down for the Christmas and New Year break.

Emmerson Resources, which has a market capitalisation of $40.85 million, says during the week starting 13 January 2025, the final four holes will be drilled.

The company says all of the high-priority holes have been completed with samples dispatched to the laboratory for analysis. The results from the drilling already completed at Nobles Nob West and White Devil are expected to be received in early 2025.

The White Devil Project is a “high-grade” gold mine that remains open to the east and at depth. The mine has produced over 760,000 ounces of gold from 1.6 million tonnes of ore at a recovered grade of 14.6 grams per tonne gold, predominantly from underground mining.

Emmerson says the mine had closed in 1999, primarily as a result of low gold prices at the time.
