Embattled Ellison exits Delta Lithium 

Delta Lithium (ASX:DLI) advises embattled billionaire mining executive Chris Ellison has resigned from the role of director and Chairman of the company.

He has served on the board of Delta since September 2023. 

Ellison says he has taken the decision to step down “to ensure that all of my focus and attention is on Mineral Resources (ASX:MIN)”. 

Delta has determined that its composition is appropriate and will not be seeking to appoint a replacement director.

Current non-executive director Nader El Sayed will take on the role of non-executive Chairman. 

Ellison stepped down from Mineral Resources – the company he founded – at its recent AGM over alleged tax evasion and for using MinRes resources for his own personal benefit.
