Signature Resources (TSX-V:SGU) is expecting results from six diamond drillholes next month from the Lingman Lake Project in Ontario, Canada.
Samples have been collected to test the extension depth east of the diabase dyke at the site’s North Gold Zone. Those samples have been sent to SGS’s Burnaby testing laboratory for assaying, with results expected in 30 days.
A total of 3.2km of drilling (47%) was completed at the time of writing. The work reveals down dip extensions of three known zones (south, central, and north) seem to support the company’s geologic model. North Zone depth was also extended by 249 metres.
The Central Zone contains the widest 34m intercept that averages 0.33 grams per tonne of gold, including a 1m intercept grading 7.37 g/t of gold. The North Zone was intercepted at 498m and continued for 22m with an average grade of 0.57 g/t of gold.
The company believes these results warrant further exploration to test intervals between diamond drill holes.
Signature Resources is an advanced stage gold exploration company with assets in Canada.
