Lincoln Minerals (ASX:LML) is well advanced with approvals for maiden drilling at its Minbrie Copper-Base Metals Project, anticipating the rigs will be spinning by mid-to-late 2025.
The company has just completed a major technical program at Minbrie – re-logging over 1,700m of core, submitting 344 new assays, and building a three dimensional model that has refined drill targets.
This gives Lincoln plenty to talk about when it takes the stage at the Noosa Mining Investor Conference at 4.55pm on 23 July.
CEO Jonathon Trewartha tells Mining.com.au Lincoln has also released new testwork from the Kookaburra Gully Graphite Project and secured access agreements for uranium exploration at Jungle Dam.
The junior explorer revealed in May that graphite from its Kookaburra Project in South Australia can reach battery-grade purity levels, as previously reported by this news service.
Lincoln sent its graphite to two independent laboratories that ran multiple tests, with results showing purity levels of greater or equal to 99.95% TGC, which is the industry benchmark for battery grade anode levels.
“It’s a strong moment to engage investors as we move toward key catalysts across copper, graphite, and uranium,” Trewartha says.
“With drill-ready targets and near-term catalysts, Lincoln is positioned to deliver scale, diversity, and momentum across the critical minerals landscape.”
Lincoln plans to use the Noosa Mining Investor Conference to showcase the strategic significance of its Minbrie Project, which sits in South Australia’s Gawler Craton – the same region as major deposits like BHP’s (ASX:BHP) Olympic Dam and Prominent Hill operations.
“With a new geological model now in place we see clear potential for a large-scale, structurally controlled system,” Trewartha explains.
“Minbrie is shaping up as a 7 km-long, structurally controlled system, anchored by a discovery hole of 29m at high grade copper and base metals, with follow-up drilling in the next three months.”
Lincoln is expecting a consistent stream of updates across its portfolio, with results from core around its second planned drill site, the finalisation of drill hole designs, completion of permitting and approvals, and mobilisation for drilling.
Trewartha says across the graphite and magnetite projects, Lincoln is advancing strategic and commercialisation discussions, including potential offtake arrangements.
“For uranium, we’re planning infill drilling at Jungle Dam and conducting follow-up geochemical surveys at Eradani to progress surface carnotite targets,” he adds.
“Each of these milestones is aimed at building technical confidence and unlocking clear value inflection points.”
The Noosa Mining program of 70 companies features a mix of mid-tiers and juniors, offering investors a broad snapshot of where the sector is at.
