Diggers: Black Cat’s new mines underpinning ‘sustained growth’

Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) Managing Director Gareth Solly says the company’s new mines are set to underpin sustained production growth, ahead of his presentation on day three at the Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

“Mobilisation of the mining fleet and hiring of key personnel are well progressed to lead a safe and efficient ramp-up in production,” Solly says.

“In parallel, we are also preparing to commence underground development at Majestic – positioning both Fingals and Majestic as long-term feed sources for our 1.2 million tonnes per year Lakewood processing facility.”

This news comes after the company received drill results from a shallow grade-control drilling program at the Fingals deposit, which comprised 776 holes for 26,444m of reverse circulation drilling.

Some of the results include 11m @ 13.07 grams per tonne gold from 55m; 4m @ 22.73g/t gold from 10m; and 2m @ 28.35g/t gold from 25m.

Further assay results will continue to be returned throughout this quarter.

Solly notes these results continue to reinforce the company’s confidence in Fingals as a base load for the Kalgoorlie East Gold Operation in Western Australia.

Solly will be presenting on Wednesday 6 August at 2.55pm AWST. Diggers & Dealers is a mining investment forum, held annually in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. This year’s forum marks the 34th year of the event.

Mining.com.au is again attending this year’s event with Executive Producer Shae Russell on the ground.

Black Cat Syndicate is an Australian gold producer focused on its 4,890km2 of tenements.
