Damstra Holdings (ASX:DTC) reports that its wholly owned subsidiary Damstra Technology and Barrick Gold North American have signed a 3-year agreement that covers 3,000 users across 6 locations.
The Australia-based global provider of integrated workplace management solutions reports implementation has already started and includes a range of mine sites, including the Nevada Gold Mining Region, which is one of the largest gold mining complexes in the world.
The deal includes implementing the Damstra Enterprise Protection Platform for Training and Learning Management solution across multiple Barrick mining sites. The project aims the standardise training globally, and create a single approach for employees and contractors, training courses and training records.

Barrick Gold is one of the world’s largest gold and copper mining companies, with 26 global mine sites in 13 countries, and over 48,000 workers across North America, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East.
In mid-2022, Damstra signed a global Master Services Agreement (MSA) with Barrick Gold in North America.
The company signed an agreement with Damstra for a Global Training and Competency Management solution that will include its eLearning and Digital forms solutions under our Enterprise Protection Platform (EPP).
The project was reported to improve Barrick’s current learning and training management through standardising and digitising training on a global scale and creating a single approach for employees and contractors through training courses and training records.
At the time Damstra said the long-term goal is to implement this program globally at 25 sites implemented involving 40,000+ workers. Damstra’s initial rollout will be to Barrick’s 3 largest mines in North America (Nevada Gold Mines), the Dominican Republic, and Africa that encompass 15,000 contractors and other workers.
Following the implementation at these sites, the solution will be rolled out to the rest of Barrick’s global locations.
