Daly expands Huckitta fluorite exploration program

Daly Resources (ASX:DLY) has expanded its priority exploration area at the Huckitta Fluorite Project in the Northern Territory following early field observations.

The Huckitta Project covers approximately 3,812km² and is prospective for both fluorite and sediment-hosted copper mineralisation.

Daly says geological mapping and surface observations have identified multiple additional vein structures beyond previously known fluorite occurrences. Selected samples have been prioritised for laboratory analysis following the early field work.

Historical fluorite exploration was mainly confined to previously reported occurrences. Recent geological mapping has identified additional areas for follow-up, expanding the priority area for ongoing field assessment.

The company says the observations will help refine future exploration planning, subject to laboratory assay results. It has completed rock-chip sampling and trial soil sampling lines north of the known fluorite occurrences to assess whether soil geochemistry may help detect potential extensions of the vein system beneath thin cover.

A detailed airborne magnetic and radiometric survey covering 3,200 line kilometres has been completed, with data processing underway. The survey was announced on 30 June 2026.

Executive Chairman Mike Edwards says the early fieldwork following listing has been useful in improving understanding of the project area.

With the airborne magnetic and radiometric survey also completed, were looking forward to integrating the results as they become available and using that information to guide the next phase of exploration,” Edwards says.

The company expects laboratory assay results and outputs from the airborne geophysical survey in the coming weeks and says the results will be integrated with surface mapping to refine geological targeting.

Daly Resources holds more than 6,500km² of exploration tenure across the Northern Territory, including the Huckitta, Broughton, and Batten projects, focusing on fluorite, copper, and zinc.
