Dalaroo ticks off community engagement at Bondoukou

Dalaroo Metals (ASX:DAL) has completed its community consultation and stakeholder engagement program ahead of a regional soil geochemistry program at the Goldridge prospect within the Bondoukou Project in northeastern Côte d’Ivoire.

The company hosted a structured consultation across villages in the project area, received government support for field activities, returned positive engagement with local representatives, and recruited a local workforce to support the geochemistry program.

All phases of exploration at the Bondoukou Project will engage the local community, which Dalaroo says is a part of its approach to conduct “responsible exploration”.

Community consultation was undertaken across Amodi, Dingbi, Kouaffo, Kogodjan, Dame, Yao-Kokoroko, and Amoatini.

To date, soil sampling activities have progressed across 40% of the planned program, which will test the broader 9.5km mineralised trend.

Dalaroo is initially focused on the 2.5km antiform target zone. Previous reconnaissance work identified “elevated” gold values at the 2.5km antiform target zone.

Results will be used to refine and prioritise drill targets. Anomalous zones will be streamlined with follow-up work, including infill soil sampling, trenching, and drill planning.

CEO John Morgan says the company is “well positioned” to generate its first geochemical dataset, which will progress towards drill-ready targets.

“Securing strong community and government support is a critical milestone for Dalaroo as we commence systematic exploration at Bondoukou,” Morgan says.

Exploration Manager for Côte d’Ivoire Frank Twum-Berima Bosompem says the community engagement program was a success, reflecting the company’s focus on building trust and long-term partnerships with host communities.

“The level of cooperation and support we have received is exceptional and supports the company’s planned exploration activities to deliver a safe and effective soil geochemistry program while creating shared value at the local level,” Bosompem says.

As reported by Mining.com.au earlier this week (13 April), the company began trading on the US-based OTCQB market using the ticker code ‘DALMF’.

The OTCQB listing is intended to enhance visibility and accessibility to North American investors.

Dalaroo Metals is focused on building a diversified exploration portfolio for gold and critical minerals across Western Australia, Côte d’Ivoire, and Greenland.
