CuFe (ASX:CUF) has executed a land access agreement with Aboriginal corporation Parna Ngururrpa, which covers four exploration licences in the West Arunta region of Western Australia.
Executing this agreement will facilitate CuFe applying to the minister responsible for administration of the Mining Act for consent to conduct exploration activities on the ground, which is a condition of these licences given they are located within an Aboriginal reserve area.
The $12 million market capitalised company will review and refine its exploration activities and work with Ngururrpa common law holders on clearance of proposed activities.

Executive Director Mark Hancock says the company is looking forward to working with Parna Ngururrpa as exploration activities move forward.
“We have had the opportunity to meet in Balgo, initially with the board and then earlier this month, with the wider group at their annual general meeting.”
“These meetings enabled the parties to better understand each other’s requirements and objectives and formed a basis of understanding that facilitated execution of this agreement,” he says.
“The West Arunta is one of Australia’s most exciting frontier exploration destinations and we look forward to further refining and adding to these exciting targets we have previously identified on the ground in advance of drilling.”
Drilling is expected to begin on a neighbouring tenure held by Lycaon Resources (ASX:LYN) next month, which will CuFe says will provide it with valuable insights for its exploration program, alongside targeting prioritisation.
CuFe is an explorer and producer focused on near-term, high-grade iron ore programs and exposure to strategic metals such as copper and lithium.
