Critica (ASX:CRI) intends to deepen engagement with North American investors at this year’s Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) held from 1-4 March 2026 in Toronto.
Speaking to Mining.com.au, CEO Jacob Deysel says the PDAC is all about acceleration and the company will be focusing on three key areas at this year’s event.
“Deepen engagement with North American investors, advance strategic and offtake conversations, and pressure-test Jupiter’s development pathway with leading technical and commercial groups,” Deysel says.
“We are no longer just telling a geological story – we are defining a development one. With a proven flowsheet, mixed rare earth oxide (MRE) produced, and a Scoping Study underway, PDAC is the right forum to position Jupiter as a credible, near-term western rare earths supplier and to align the partners and capital needed to move from resource to reality.”

Critica is currently progressing all core Scoping Study workstreams, advancing pilot and optimisation programs to show repeatability and refining product specifications to support partner and offtake engagement.
“Each of these steps moves Jupiter further along the development curve – from technical proof to commercial definition,” Deysel tells this news service.
“Investors should expect disciplined, milestone-driven newsflow that shows steady progress toward establishing Jupiter as a credible, buildable rare earths project for western supply chains.”
Deysel notes that if timing lines up, the market can expect updates relating to the Scoping Study progress, alongside pilot outcomes or product specification work.
Earlier this month, Critica completed an $8 million placement to advance operational activities at the Jupiter Project. Jupiter has grown into a 1.8 billion tonne global resource in magnet rare earths, with continuous mineralisation across a 40km footprint and low uranium and thorium levels.
PDAC is considered the world’s premier mineral exploration and mining convention, bringing together more than 27,000 attendees from over 125 countries for its educational programs, networking events, and business opportunities.
Since first beginning in 1932, the annual convention has grown in size, stature and influence. The event hosts more than 1,300 exhibitors and 700 presenters.
