Blaud

Coraline Blaud appointed to Lodestar’s board

Lodestar Minerals (ASX:LSR) has appointed Coraline Blaud as non-executive director, following Ed Turner’s resignation from his position.

Blaud has 10 years’ experience as a geologist in the junior mining sector, spending time in Africa and Europe, exploring for potash and lithium, before moving back to Western Australia in 2016 where she contributed to defining the Abra lead deposit.

There she held responsibilities across all project stages from exploration to resource definition drilling and scoping and feasibility studies.

Following Abra’s shift into the mining phase, Blaud moved to Kingwest Resources (ASX:KWR), and the Menzies and Goongarrie gold projects. At Menzies Blaud led the exploration team that proved up 500,000 ounces of gold JORC resources, which was followed by a Scoping Study.

In December 2022, she was appointed Exploration Manager for Lodestar Minerals, leading the exploration across the company’s Western Australian base metal and gold projects.

Since December 2024, she has acted as the consultant geologist for Lodestar’s newly acquired Chilean gold and copper assets.

Executive Chairman Ross Taylor says Blaud’s geological expertise will expand the board’s understanding of its tenement portfolio.

“Her strong technical background in familiarity with the project will allow for a seamless continuation and acceleration of our exploration activities,” Taylor says.

“We are confident her insights and leadership will be instrumental as we advance our strategy and unlock the full potential of Darwin and our other assets.”

Lodestar Minerals is a base metal and gold explorer with portfolios spanning Western Australia and Chile. The company’s Western Australian projects comprise the 100% Earaheedy, Ned’s Creek and Coolgardie West projects, and in Chile, the 100% Darwin project.
