Copper One Resources (CSE:CEXY) has commenced drilling at hole MHB-38 at its flagship Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Nevada, US, following completion of the previous hole to 765.9m.
Drill hole MHB-37B reached total depth, with assays pending. MHB-38 is targeting approximately 152.4m.
MHB-38 aims to test a newly discovered north-northwest-trending tourmaline breccia body identified through recent surface mapping.
Rock-chip samples from a road cut along the surface trace of the breccia returned anomalous copper and gold values. The target is expected to be intersected at approximately 85.3m down hole.
CEO David Greenway says the company is “encouraged by the geological characteristics observed in the drill core” and continues to evaluate the scale and continuity of the mineralised system.
“MHB-37B marks another important milestone in our 2026 exploration program at Majuba Hill,” Greenway adds.
“With MHB-37B completed to a total depth of 2,513 feet [765.9m], the first 1,760 feet [536.5m] of core submitted for assay, and drilling underway at MHB-38, we look forward to receiving assay results and advancing our 10,000-foot [3,048m] drill program.”
Majuba Hill comprises approximately 3,919 hectares located about 113km southwest of Winnemucca and 251km northeast of Reno, Nevada.
The project is a former producer with approximately 27,248m of historical drilling completed to date.
Copper One Resources is a Canada-based exploration company focused on advancing a portfolio of copper and critical metals projects across North America, including the Redonda Copper-Molybdenum Project in British Columbia, Canada.
