Copper One resumes Majuba Hill drilling, targeting breccia

Copper One Resources (CSE:CEXY) will resume drilling at the Majuba Hill Project in Nevada, US, this week, targeting results uncovered in the breccia mapping campaign.

The company has reached 531m at drill hole MHB-37B so far, with drilling to resume at the hole on 8 July.

Copper One has visually observed chalcopyrite, pyrite, and possible sphalerite within the ALS Formation between around 243.8m and 335.3m.

Laboratory analytical results are pending for the hole.

Hole MHB-37B is designed to drill around 762m, intending to test AI-driven modelling of geophysics.

The AI-driven model combines breccia mapping from the spring campaign to follow up on historical drill holes that intersected ‘significant’ copper-silver-gold mineralisation.

CEO David Greenway says the company has entered “an important new phase” for the Majuba Hill Project, with drilling underway on the company’s initial ExploreTech AI-assisted core hole.

“As artificial intelligence accelerates the buildout of data centres, electrification infrastructure, and next-generation power systems, the need for secure domestic copper supply continues to grow,” Greenway says.

“At Majuba Hill, we are applying advanced AI-driven exploration tools to help refine targeting, improve geological confidence, and guide a disciplined drill program focused on expanding known mineralisation.

“Our objective is to continue advancing this large Nevada copper-silver-gold system toward a future maiden mineral resource estimate and unlocking its potential as a North American copper exploration asset.”

Copper One retrieved 84 surface rock-chip samples from mapped breccia outcrops in the spring campaign.

Values retrieved from the campaign represent values greater than 1,000 parts per million copper.

Copper One Resources is a North American exploration company advancing a portfolio of copper, copper-silver-gold, and critical metals projects across Nevada and British Columbia, Canada.
