Copper One Resources Majuba Hill Project in Nevada, US

Copper One intersects targeted breccia at Majuba Hill

Copper One Resources (CSE:CEXY) has completed drill hole MHB-38 to a total depth of 185.32m at its Majuba Hill Copper-Silver-Gold Project in Nevada, US, and is preparing to commence MHB-39.

The hole was designed to test a newly discovered north-northwest-trending tourmaline breccia body identified through recent surface mapping. Drilling intersected the targeted breccia zone at the predicted depth, consistent with the company’s geological model.

Preliminary logging indicates MHB-38 intersected tourmaline-altered magmatic breccia beginning at approximately 79.9m, transitioning into well-developed tourmaline breccia from approximately 103m.

An aphanitic rhyolite unit was encountered from approximately 103.6m, interpreted as an early intrusive phase potentially associated with mineralising events elsewhere in the system.

CEO David Greenway says the hole successfully intersected the targeted breccia corridor, confirming the geological model.

“The hole successfully intersected the targeted north-northwest-trending breccia corridor, confirming our geological model and providing valuable information on the structural controls and alteration associated with the mineralising system,” Greenway mentions.

Core from MHB-38 has been transported to the company’s facility in Elko, Nevada, where it is being logged, photographed, sampled, and prepared for shipment to ALS Laboratories.

Results are expected to help define the three-dimensional geometry and distribution of alteration and sulphide mineralisation.

The company notes that mineralisation described is based on geological logging and visual observations. Grades can only be confirmed through laboratory assays, which remain pending.

Copper One is now preparing to commence MHB-39, while assay results from MHB-37B also remain pending.

Copper One Resources is a Canadian exploration company focused on advancing a portfolio of copper and copper-silver-gold projects across North America.
