Clara Resources Australia Mareeba Gold Project in Queensland

Clara consolidates Hodgkinson gold ground

Clara Resources Australia (ASX:C7A) has executed binding option deeds to acquire 100% of three exploration permits covering approximately 111km² along the Kingsborough Fault corridor at its Mareeba Gold Project in Far North Queensland.

The company has secured options over EPM 28996, EPM 28652, and EPM 29019, consolidating a district-scale holding along the southern flank of the Hodgkinson Goldfield.

Historical exploration at the Granola Prospect within EPM 28652 returned rock chip samples up to 8 grams per tonne gold and 8% antimony, according to Queensland Government open-file reports from 1985.

These results are historical and have not been independently verified.

The consolidated package extends Clara’s controlled ground into a single, contiguous holding along the Kingsborough Fault, which hosts historical gold workings.

Together with existing tenure and applications, the transactions provide approximately 41km of strike length along the fault corridor.

Clara Resources says the consolidation addresses the historical fragmentation that has constrained systematic exploration of this part of the goldfield.

“The southern end of the Hodgkinson Goldfield has long sat fragmented across separate holders and thus is the main reason this part of the field has never been explored as one system,” Executive Director Duncan Gordon adds.

Under the option agreements, Clara holds exclusive rights to acquire EPM 28996 for $30,000 cash on transfer, while EPM 28652 and EPM 29019 can be acquired for $75,000 in Clara shares plus $125,000 in cash instalments.

Clara Resources Australia is a multi‑commodity exploration company advancing gold and critical minerals at its Mareeba project in Queensland, alongside coking coal and tin assets in New South Wales.
