Bryah Resources (ASX:BYH) reports that it has identified a new gold-bearing fault structure from aircore drilling at the Lady Alma Layered Igneous Complex (LALIC) within its Gabanintha Project in Western Australia.
The company states that recently received assays confirm a new prospect located 1.7km along strike from the project’s New Hope prospect. Key results from hole 21GAC013 include 9 metres @ 1.43 g/t Au from 24m; with 4 metres @ 2.48 g/t Au and 0.064% Cu from 29m.

The results give rise to potential for ‘significant’ gold mineralisation across nine structural corridors over 11 km in cross-cutting fault zones adjacent to the vanadium-titanium-magnetite deposit.
Addressing the result, Bryah Resources Managing Director Neil Marston said: “There is growing evidence, further supported by these recent gold results from the latest drilling, that cross-faults adjacent to the vanadium-titanium-magnetite deposit at Gabanintha have significant gold potential. The drilling result adds a second structurally located prospect, providing us with an exciting opportunity to further investigate 9 targets over the 11 kilometres strike length of the deposit.”

AVL holds mineral rights to vanadium, titanium, iron ore and cobalt across the 170km² project, and is a 5% shareholder of Bryah Resources.
Drill funding of up to $53,000 was made available by the Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety’s Exploration Incentive Scheme grant. In total, 113 holes for 5,539m were completed in August 2021, with 455 sample assays received, and over 1,000 pending.
Further RC drilling is planned to begin in November 2021, targeting shallow gold mineralisation at the project’s New Hope prospect and the area in the vicinity of hole 21GAC013.
