Boss Energy’s (ASX:BOE) Alta Mesa Uranium Project in Texas, US, is ramping up annualised production at a rate of 1.5 million pounds of triuranium octoxide after acquiring 30% of the business earlier this year from the project’s operator enCore Energy Corp (TSX-V:EU).
The partnership with enCore parallels with the operator’s Wellfield Expansion Project’s that continues to show “positive” results with 32 wells, 15 extractors and 17 injectors installed and connected to the Alta Mesa processing plant by 23 April.
Boss, which has a market capitalisation of $987.5 million, says this current rate of under two days per installed well is the best in enCore’s history at Alta Mesa.
The Alta Mesa central processing plant and Wellfield hosts a fully licensed and constructed in-situ recovery uranium plant sitting on 200,000 plus acres of private land in Texas.
The total operating capacity is 1.5 million pounds of triuranium octoxide per year, with additional drying capacity of 500,000 pounds.
