Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) has increased its antimony resource at the eastern zone of the Mt Clement Antimony Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia by 95% to 25,800 tonnes.
The company conducted diamond drilling at the project in late 2025 to test known areas of mineralisation, while also collecting samples for metallurgical testing.
SRK Consulting completed a resource estimate on the eastern zone of the project, also returning a 191% increase in contained silver to 1.2 million ounces and a 108% increase in contained lead to 39,000 tonnes.
Drilling returned intercepts such as 5m @ 2.52% antimony, 4.14% lead, and 34.38 grams per tonne silver from 118m; 6.9m @ 2.18% antimony, 6.04% lead, and 45,91g/t from 130.20m; and 1.10m @ 3.10% antimony, 6.37% lead, and 35.10g/t silver.
Black Cat will conduct infill drilling across March and April 2026, with intentions of expanding the independent resource.
Mt Clement currently hosts a resource of 2.2 million tonnes @ 1.2% antimony for 25,800 tonnes of contained antimony, along with an exploration target of between 3.9 to 5.4 million tonnes @ 1.2% to 1.9% antimony for between 47,000 and 103,000 tonnes of contained antimony.
Managing Director James Bruce says the drilling campaign was designed to further understand the deposit at Mt Clement, while also collecting samples for metallurgical workstreams.
“The 95% expansion of the antimony resource is a pleasing result, increasing the potential for future development of the Mt Clement Project,” Bruce says.
“The upcoming drilling campaign, commencing in March, will target further growth in the quantity and confidence of the resource in preparation for an economic study to be completed by September 2026.”
