Belararox uncovers new potential LCT pegmatite targets across Bullabulling Project in WA

Belararox (ASX:BRX) has uncovered several new potential lithium-caesium-tantalum (LCT) pegmatite targets following the acquisition of drone aerial imagery across its wholly owned Bullabulling Project in Western Australia.

These new targets have been discovered as part of its ongoing lithium-focused exploration program and are considered prospective for lithium mineralisation. The company says mineralisation occurs within pegmatites associated with the adjacent Bali Monzogranite and other potential pegmatite source rocks.

Belararox reports this discovery has been made following the return of lithium oxide (Li2O) intercepts of 29m @ 1.36% Li2O from 38m downhole from Future Battery Minerals’ (ASX:FBM) and Lodestar Minerals (ASX:LSR) Kangaroo Hills Lithium Project located only 11.5km to the east.

The company notes this discovery has also occurred following the execution of a binding agreement to acquire a 100% interest within Fomo Ventures No 1 that, by virtue of a wholly owned subsidiary based in Argentina, hold the Toro-Malambo-Tambo (TMT) Base Metals and Copper-Gold Porphyry Project in Argentina, as announced by Belararox in March 2023.

The project is considered prospective for ‘significant’ zinc mineralisation, with historic exploration returning zinc grades up to 8.59% Zn, and has potential for base metals and copper-gold porphyry mineralisation.

With lithium-focused exploration still ongoing at the project, Belararox announces it will continue to finalise the review and interpretation of the recently acquired drone aerial footage, as well as other available satellite imagery assessing for potential pegmatite and sheeted quartz vein targets.

Additionally, follow-up field reconnaissance mapping, rock chip sampling, and portable X-Ray Fluorescence (pXRF) analysis is expected to take place on all identified targets in conjunction with systematic surface sampling of the most prospective targets.

Speaking on the discovery, Belararox Managing Director Arvind Misra says: “The continued exploration success at Bullabulling is an exciting development in the pipeline of activities for Belararox and represents a real opportunity in a highly prospective LCT pegmatite district in WA.

The continued exploration success at Bullabulling is an exciting development in the pipeline of activities for Belararox…”

Follow-up field mapping and sampling of the highly prospective targets is soon to commence, and we aim to continue to update the market as activities progress.”

Belararox is an ASX-listed mineral exploration company focused on high-value clean energy metals and securing resources to meet the surging demand from the technology, battery, and renewable energy markets. The company’s 100% owned Bullabulling project is located within the proven gold-producing Bullabulling goldfield near the township of Coolgardie in Western Australia.

The project covers a total land area of 49km-square and surrounds the 3 million ounce Bullabulling Gold Project and is considered prospective for LCT pegmatites due to its proximity to the highly fractionated Bali Monzogranite.
