Belararox brings aboard Boart for TMT technical expertise

Belararox (ASX:BRX) has contracted drilling services and equipment company Boart Longyear to provide technical expertise and drilling capabilities for upcoming exploration at its Toro-Malambo-Tambo (TMT) Project in Argentina.

A diamond drill rig is scheduled to mobilise at the site within the next two weeks.

Managing Director Arvind Misra says securing Boart is an important milestone for the company as it progresses exploration at TMT.

“Engaging a contractor with proven deep-drilling capability positions us well as we move into the next phase of exploration,” Misra says.

Meanwhile, the company is conducting a combined magnetotellurics (MT) and induced polarisation (IP) geophysical survey at the Toro South and Toro Central prospects.

Belararox will cover an area of 2,500m by 2,500m for the entirety of Toro South and targeted zones at Toro Central ahead of drilling.

“The MT/IP survey at Toro South is advancing well and continues to improve our understanding of the underlying system,” Misra adds.

“These datasets are helping us refine our targets and ensure we are well prepared ahead of drilling.

“With mobilisation planned for Q4 CY25, we are steadily moving toward a key period for the company.”

Located in the San Juan province, the TMT Project is prospective for its strategic location between the mineralised El Indio and Maricunga metallogenic belts, sitting in an underexplored area.

Belararox is a mineral explorer focused on uncovering copper, gold, silver, and zinc in Argentina and Australia.
