Battery Age Minerals (ASX:BM8) has awarded the drilling contract for its maiden program at its Falcon Lithium Project in Ontario, Canada to ‘highly regarded’ Canadian drilling contractor Rodren Drilling.
The company says Rodren has over 40 years’ experience in drilling across a range of commodities and industrial sectors, and is well known for its unique ability to understand the needs of its clients with its innovation, safety, and quality of services.
It is reported Rodren’s experience, equipment, and crews sets it apart from the competition. The drilling company operates in diverse terrains and challenging environments.
First planning and mobilisation activities for the maiden drilling program are reported to be well underway, with drilling operations expected to begin in 4-6 weeks.

The company also notes drilling comes following the securing of a Canadian office in order to focus on the rapid exploration at the project, as announced by Battery Age Minerals in February 2023.
Battery Age Minerals is an ASX-listed battery mineral focused company targeting growth of its battery metal portfolio through the acquisition of other battery related tenements around the world. The company’s Falcon Lake project is located within the Tier-1 Thunder Bay mining jurisdiction in northwestern Ontario and comprises 214 mining claims which cover a total landholding of 42.8km-square.
The project is situated within a ‘highly fertile’ region for spodumene-bearing pegmatites within a prospective 5km corridor with notable historic intercepts of 24.4m @ 1.43% Li2O from 10.9m, including 9m @ 1.95% Li2O.
The tenement is also situated just 10km along strike from the Seymour Lake Lithium Project, which is owned by Green Technology Metals (ASX:GT1), and has a defined JORC reported global inferred and indicated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 9.9 million tonnes (Mt) @ 1.04% Li2O.
