Bastion Minerals (ASX:BMO) is advancing towards delivering a maiden resource estimate for the ICE Copper Project in Yukon, Canada, with completion imminent.
The company intends to release the maiden resource within the coming weeks.
Upon completion, Bastion intends to conduct a new mineralogical analysis and metallurgical testwork program on existing drill core samples, which is being scoped and will begin shortly.
A review of the existing magnetic data and integration with electromagnetic geophysical data sets is scheduled to begin, with a potential re-interpretation exercise under consideration once the review is completed.
Bastion also plans to conduct drilling for resource extensions, as well as test new geophysical and geochemical target zones later this year in the Canadian northern summer.
Executive Chairman Ross Landles says the advancements at ICE and the company’s well-structured 2025 work programs for the Mariner and Harley projects reflect Bastion’s commitment to unlock value.
“The imminent maiden mineral resource estimate at the ICE Copper Project is a significant milestone, and the positive metallurgical review results further reinforce the project’s strong potential,” Landles says.
“With a growing global demand for copper, we are strategically positioned to capitalise on these opportunities and drive long-term growth.”
Bastion is also planning a drilling program, subject to permitting timeframes, at the Mariner and Harley projects.
