Aya Gold & Silver demonstrates silver continuity across Zgounder kingdom

Aya Gold & Silver (TSX:AYA) reports recent drill results confirm continuity of silver mineralisation at its Zgounder Silver Mine in the Kingdom of Morocco in North Africa.

Silver mineralisation up to 5,794 grams per tonne (g/t) from at-depth has been returned from drilling of 176 holes completed using various drilling methods. The results demonstrate various intercepts over 1,000g/t silver across the Central, Western, and Eastern zones at Zgounder.

Up to 9,900m of the 2024 underground exploration program has been drilled year to date.

President and CEO Benoit La Salle says the company is pleased with the new silver-rich intercepts near the granite contact, demonstrating strong resource potential at depth at Zgounder.

“We currently have four underground rigs turning and expect more significant drill results in the coming months.”

Assays were prepared at the African Laboratory for Mining and Environment in Marrakech. All samples were analysed for silver, copper, iron, lead, and zinc using aqua regia and finished by atomic adsorption spectroscopy.

Aya Gold & Silver is a pure-play silver mining company listed on the TSX.

It will release its Q1 2024 financial and operational results on 15 May 2024 before market-open.
