Atomic Eagle (ASX:AEU) has announced the appointment of Grant Davey as non-executive Chairman, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the uranium industry as the founder of Boss Energy (ASX:BOE) and Lotus Resources (ASX:LOT).
Other significant board changes include the appointment of Muna Hantuba as non-executive Director. Hantuba also brings extensive experience to the role, with a career spanning finance, mining, insurance, real estate, and corporate governance through his business leadership in Zambia.
Finally, Atomic Eagle also notes that Eric Krafft has resigned from the board, while Govind Friedland is transitioning from Chairman to non-executive Director.
CEO Phil Hoskins says that the company is excited to bring both Davey and Hantuba to the board, noting their significant experience in Africa as vital to the company.
“Grant’s expertise in the uranium sector of more than 20 years will no doubt prove invaluable, having been the founder of both Boss Energy and Lotus Resources,” Hoskins says.
“I would also like to recognise the considerable work Eric has done for the company as a director, and I wish him all the best in the future. I also look forward to continuing to work with Govind who steps down as non-executive Director.”
Atomic Eagle is a uranium explorer and developer focused on advancing the Muntanga Project in Zambia.
