Asara receives drill results from Kada

Asara Resources (ASX:AS1) has received further drill results from the Massan deposit within the Kada Gold Project in Guinea.

The company has conducted drilling across 3,593m across 16 holes in phase one reverse circulation and diamond drilling in the resource estimate area.

Notable intersections include 14m @ 1 grams per tonne gold from 17m, 32m @ 0.7g/t gold from 56m, 44m @ 0.6g/t gold from 109m, and 5m @ 3.6g/t gold from 76m, including 1m @ 16.6g/t gold from 77m.

Phase one intends to convert the inferred resource to indicated while also targeting depth extensions to the deposit.

CEO Matt Sharples says the latest drilling campaign provides confirmation of the geological interpretation that underpins the deposit.

“As previous recent results, these newly reported intercepts are again consistent with expected widths and grades and, importantly, were intersected in the predicted positions, providing increased confidence in the current geological model and our understanding of the mineralisation controls,” Sharples says.

“Results from both near-surface infill drilling and depth-extension drilling have supported the continuity of mineralisation and reinforced the scale potential of the Massan deposit. These outcomes continue to inform and refine our targeting approach and drill planning.

“Drilling activity at Massan is increasing following the recent arrival of the Sahara Resources aircore/reverse circulation rig in December 2025.

“This rig will be utilised for the phase two strike extension program, targeting mineralisation to the north and south of the current resource area, aiming further to assess the along-strike extent of the Massan deposit.”

Asara Resources is a mineral explorer focused on its portfolio of projects in Guinea, West Africa, and South America.

The Kada Gold Project in eastern Guinea has an indicated and inferred Mineral Resource Estimate of 30.3 million tonnes at 1 gram per tonne gold for 923,000 ounces.
