Aruma Resources (ASX:AAJ) will target gold and gallium surface geochemical anomalies at the Terceira prospect at its Saltwater Project in Western Australia in the next phase of fieldwork.
The company will start a reverse circulation drilling program across 1,500m of the prospect, following the approval of its heritage survey expected in June.
Terceira hosts a geochemical gold anomaly with a strike length of 300m and a width of 60m, and a gallium or arsenic anomaly spanning approximately 800m by 120m, as reported by Mining.com.au in February.
The company is hoping to refine exploration targets at the Spinifex Dome and Trinity Dome, with historical aeromagnetic data currently being reprocessed.
Southern Geoscience Consultants is overseeing the processing of the data.
Meanwhile, Aruma will conduct an infill and expansion soil sampling program of approximately 200 samples spanning 1.72km2 at the Talmine prospect, following the results of previous sampling.
Previous assay results returned grades higher than 24 grams per tonne gallium oxide across the 16 samples, including 136.05g/t gallium oxide at AR14023.
The program will kick off in early Q3 with results to be released when available.
The Saltwater Project is located about 120km southwest from the mining centre of Newman in Western Australia, covering a total area of 465km2.
