Aruma delivers ‘exceptional’ copper-silver drilling at Tillex

Aruma Resources (ASX:AAJ) reports multiple wide, ‘high-grade’ copper-silver intersections from phase one drilling at the Tillex Copper-Silver Project in Ontario, Canada.

Drill highlights include 89m @ 2.04% copper and 12.31 grams per tonne (g/t) silver from 38.8m, including 16.87m @ 4.02% copper and 16.85g/t silver from 93m; and 87m @ 1.99% copper and 12.63g/t silver from 30m, including 17.74m @ 3.38% copper and 7.46g/t silver from 42m.

Aruma Managing Director Grant Ferguson says the results indicate the presence of a “large-scale, well-developed mineralised system”.

“Importantly, the consistency of mineralisation, together with strong geological continuity and the fact that the system remains open along strike and at depth, provides strong confidence in the scale and growth potential of the project,” Ferguson says.

The Tillex mineralised zone spans approximately 500m to 600m in strike length, with downhole widths up to 110m.

Sulphide mineralisation commences at shallow depths of 25m to 35m below surface and has been tested to only 135m depth, leaving the system substantially open at depth and along plunge.

The company says phase two drilling is scheduled to commence next month, comprising 3,500m to 4,000m and targeting strike extensions of the deposit.

Metallurgical testwork will begin in early Q3 2026 to establish processing pathways, quantify metal recovery rates, and provide an initial assessment of the potential grade and quality of the copper concentrate that may be produced.

Aruma Resources is a copper-focused explorer, with assets in the Mt Isa region of Queensland and multicommodity projects in South and Western Australia.
