Arizona Gold & Silver (TSX-V:AZS) announced that they have successfully intersected 34.45m of Perry Vein material at core hole PC25-157, 60m north of the high-grade intercept reported in September this year.
Vice President Exploration Greg Hahn says that the Perry Vein was intersected “as our geologists predicted”.
“Grades are yet unknown, but it is geologically a repeat of the high-grade vein intersected in PC25-156,” Hahn says.
“Our understanding of this extraordinary vein is improving with each hole. I continue to believe that we are at the top of the favourable ‘boiling zone’ of what is a fascinating hydrothermal system. This leaves a very significant target zone to pursue down dip of this intercept.”
The Perry Vein has several facies that were similarly identified in PC25-156. The core has been delivered to Skyline Labs in Arizona to be sawed in half, with one half sampled for gold, silver, and other trace metals, and the other half to be preserved for further studies.
The company has now started on core hole PC25-158, with the intention of intersecting the Perry Vein 60m north of PC25-157. It should hit the target by the end of October.
Arizona Gold & Silver is exploring for precious metals resources in Arizona and Nevada.
