Arizona Gold & Silver (TSX-V:AZS) has intersected the “highest-grade and thickest” gold and silver mineralisation to date at the Philadelphia Project in Arizona as part of the company’s ongoing drilling campaign.
Drillhole PC25-156 has returned grades up to 9.04 grams per tonne gold and 34g/t silver over 20.43m from 320.73m.
The company found gold and silver at a depth of 312.50 metres, with an average of 5.61 grams of gold per tonne and 29.2 grams of silver per tonne over a length of 38.72 metres.
Highlights within this contained 45.60 grams of gold per tonne and 54.9 grams of silver per tonne over 1.19 metres.
CEO Mike Stark says Arizona Gold will use upcoming exploration activities at the project to focus on increasing the scale and grade of the system due to a consistent return of “high-grade” intercepts and visible gold.
“These outstanding results validate our belief in the untapped potential at depth within the Perry vein system,” Stark says.
“Our 2026 exploration expansion reflects our confidence in this project’s ability to evolve into a significant gold-silver deposit in Arizona.”
Vice President of Exploration Greg Hahn says the results returned from this drillhole represent the scale of the greater deposit, as it continues to increase in grade with depth.
“I don’t believe we have seen the heart of the system yet,” Hahn says.
“Importantly, the gold and silver grades are not confined to the banded and massive vein but include intervals within the vein breccia that carry clasts of vein material containing fine-grained visible gold and that likely represent fragments of unbrecciated banded and massive vein material present further down dip.”
The company intends to continue drilling at the project, with one drill rig scheduled to arrive at the property in October for three additional holes to guide a 2026 drill program.
Arizona Gold is looking to expand the exploration area by 200 acres with 16 new drill pads in next year’s program.
