Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) is increasing its mineral resource estimate for its wholly owned Minyari Gold-Copper-Silver Project.
Antipa reveals its latest mineral resource estimate for the project is 2.9 million ounces (Moz) of gold.
The company’s Prefeasibility Study shows the Minyari Dome group of deposits contain 2.5 million ounces of gold. This is promised to represent a material improvement in the mineral resource base “confidence and quality”.
Satellite deposits include 69 million tonnes at 1.33 grams per tonne of gold; 2.9 million ounces of gold; and 3.6 million ounces at 1.62 g/t with 91 kilo tonnes (kt) of copper, 880 kilo ounces of silver, and 13 kilo tonnes of cobalt.
“This provides an even stronger foundation for mine planning, study work and ongoing technical workstreams as we advance the project towards a development decision,” Antipa Managing Director Roger Mason says.
“Multiple deposit areas remain open, several emerging zones are shaping up for maiden resource potential, and the broader project area continues to generate highly encouraging new discovery opportunities.”
Minyari Dome’s 12 deposits are distributed along a 3.5km strike corridor.
Antipa Minerals is a gold and copper mineral exploration and development company with assets mostly based in Western Australia’s Paterson Province.
