Antipa shoots for Minyari’s ‘high-grade’ gold and copper

Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) is conducting phase two of drilling at the Reaper-Poblano-Serrano trend as the company pushes towards a Prefeasibility Study (PFS) for the Minyari Gold-Copper Project in the Paterson province of Western Australia.

Among multiple drilling programs across the project, the company says recent aircore drilling at the Reaper-Poblano-Serrano trend further enhances the 2km long anomaly.

Managing Director Roger Mason says early results from aircore drilling at the trend provide an indication of a new mineral system, which will be followed up with phase two drilling and completed by mid-December 2025.

“In parallel, PFS workstreams are progressing as we continue to grow, refine, and de-risk this high-quality, stand-alone gold-copper development opportunity,” Mason explains.

Antipa, which has a market capitalisation of $425.66 million, recently completed 18,340m of resource definition drilling to steer the company towards a PFS, with 12,097m worth of assays already returned.

The recent results returned from this campaign include 5m @ 2.6 grams per tonne gold and 0.10% copper including 0.4m @ 29.7g/t gold and 1.1% copper, confirming ‘strong’ continuity of gold-copper zones within the Minyari deposit.

The company is still awaiting the remaining assays, expected to be returned over the coming months, along with initial batches of phase two 2025 assay results.

Meanwhile, Antipa has returned all assays from phase one of its CY2025 drilling program, spanning 35,158m of drilling across 305 holes at Minyari.

Assays from the Minyari Dome deposit growth drilling program highlights 67m @ 1.1g/t gold and 0.33% copper from 159m, including 23m @ 2.4g/t gold and 0.65% copper from 200m, also including 2m @ 9.8g/t gold and 0.87% copper from 220m at the Minella prospect.

Mason explains that the latest results from the Minella prospect highlights and demonstrates the growth potential of the Minyari system.

“The strong gold and copper grades intersected here reinforce the resource expansion potential within close proximity to the proposed development footprint,” Mason adds.

“When combined with the latest results from GEO-01 and Minyari South, which confirm extensions to other zones of mineralisation within the broader Minyari Dome system, we have confidence in the geology’s capacity for additional and sustained resource growth.”

Extensions to mineralisation at GEO-01 Central and Minyari South include 27m @ 0.8g/t gold and 0.05% copper from 171m at GEO-01, and 31m @ 0.7g/t gold and 0.10% copper from 70m, respectively.

Antipa Minerals is an Australian explorer focused on uncovering significant gold-copper-silver deposits in the Paterson Province of Western Australia.
