As the Noosa Mining Investor Conference approaches, Antipa Minerals (ASX:AZY) is advancing its Minyari Dome Project in Western Australia towards development.
Executive Chairperson Mark Rodda tells Mining.com.au the timing is right to update the market on the proven stand-alone potential of the project and Antipa’s CY2025 growth and greenfield discovery drilling program.
“We’re looking to deepen investor understanding of our strategy for advancing Minyari towards development at a time of strong gold and copper fundamentals and renewed activity in the Paterson,” he says.
Only a few days ago, Antipa revealed it was raising $40 million, boosting the company’s cash reserves to around $74 million.
Managing Director Roger Mason told Mining.com.au following the news that the raise lays the longer term funding pathway all the way through to a final investment decision (FID) on the Minyari Dome Project.
The project, which spans 4,100km2, hosts a resource of 2.5 million ounces of gold, 84,000 tonnes of copper, 666,000 ounces of silver and 13,000 tonnes of cobalt.
A Prefeasibility Study is on track for delivery by June 2026, with a potential FID targeted for as early as March 2027.
Rodda says Antipa will provide investors with an update on a range of activities that support the advancement of Minyari towards development.
“These include permitting, further technical de-risking, and the ongoing CY2025 drilling program designed to unlock both resource growth and new discovery opportunities,” he says.
“We are focused on being as clear and transparent as possible in outlining our plans for the advancement of Minyari and our ongoing exploration program, to make it as easy as possible for investors to assess the opportunity that Antipa represents.
“It’s hard to miss the seismic shift in investor interest towards high-quality gold names.”
The Noosa Mining Investor Conference is being held at the Peppers Noosa Resort from 23-25 July and features a line-up of 70 junior and mid-tier explorers and producers.
