Wholly owned subsidiary of Anson Resources (ASX:ASN), A1 Lithium, has been admitted as a member of the US Defense Industrial Base Consortium (DIBC).
Through this admission, A1 Lithium will gain enhanced access to US federal agencies — including the Department of Energy and the Department of War — for strategic funding, grant opportunities, government-backed initiatives, and domestic supply chain partnerships.
A1 Lithium has several applications pending for grant and funding initiatives from the US Department of Energy, while the subsidiary continues to assess opportunities aligned with the Green River Lithium Project in Utah.
The company also obtained “positive feedback” from the DIBC regarding a Quad Chart submitted for the Yellow Cat Vanadium-Uranium Project.
The project was rated ‘met’, which determines that the asset is technically feasible, aligned with program objectives, and eligible to progress to the next stage, depending on government need and funding availability.
Anson CEO Bruce Richardson says A1 Lithium’s admission to the DIBC is an “important milestone” that will strengthen the company’s engagement with US Government initiatives regarding critical minerals and domestic supply chain development.
“Receiving a positive ‘met’ assessment from the DIBC on our Yellow Cat submission further validates the strategic importance and technical merit of our US-based critical minerals portfolio,” Richardson says.
“The Green River Lithium Project is strategically positioned within the United States and aligns strongly with current federal priorities surrounding secure domestic lithium supply.
“We look forward to continuing discussions with government agencies and industry participants as we advance our projects toward development.”
As reported by Mining.com.au, Anson Resources opened a $14 million placement to fund exploration at the Green River and Yellow Cat projects in November 2025.
